Credence has an immediate need for a Cybersecurity Cross Domain Solutions Specialist to support HQ AFMC A4/10 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
HQ AFMC A2 requires specialized expertise to ensure the secure and effective integration of cross domain solutions (CDS) across its environment. This position will provide critical advisory and assistance services, leveraging technical expertise to analyze CDS systems' engineering plans, conduct risk analysis, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance cyber resiliency and system capability. The CDS Systems Analyst will play a key role in ensuring mission integration, reliability, and scalability of CDS systems, contributing to the overall security posture of HQ AFMC A2.
- Provide systems engineering analysis, including:
- Gathering and evaluating requirements.
- Translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Providing recommendations to ensure project schedules and budgets are justifiable and support IC priorities.
- Conduct cyber mission risk analysis, including:
- Appraising and recommending technical implementation of system security designs.
- Reviewing system documentation to identify cybersecurity or compliance issues.
- Support monitoring and oversight of the managed portfolio, including:
- Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats, tracking and managing cyber resiliency risks.
- Providing assessment and authorization support for formal security assessments and readiness inspections.
- Additional tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Consulting with mission partners to gather and evaluate requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Coordinating with equipment manufacturers/vendors to document changing or emerging capabilities.
- Supporting mission-related travel, including site assessments, installations, forums, conferences, and program management reviews.
Requirements
- Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
- BS/BA and three (3) years of relevant experience
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience
- Possess DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification.
- At least five years of direct experience with DoD cross domain solutions is highly desired.
- Current understanding of DoD acquisition processes to ensure timely and synchronized schedule integration of cybersecurity requirements into program schedules and milestones through various acquisition program integrated product teams.
