Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to integrate hybrid networks, including on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring robust security measures are in place.
- Lead investigations and troubleshooting of security incidents, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Stay informed on emerging cloud computing technologies and the evolving cybersecurity landscape to advise clients effectively.
- Contribute to the enhancement of Security Operations Center (SOC) tooling through hands-on involvement in analytics, correlation metadata, and communication templates.
- Design and implement security architecture tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and review technical documentation related to network infrastructure and security protocols.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) implementations to validate security solutions for clients.
- Perform in-depth security tests to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen client environments.
- Implement security best practices within cloud services to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Directly engage in guiding and facilitating security investigations for clients.
- Assess security risks and provide consultancy on mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate governance and compliance frameworks in client environments ensuring adherence to standards.
- Support pre-sales engagements by providing expert guidance on cloud security solutions.
- Evaluate and qualify opportunities for clients to transition to cloud environments with a focus on security.
- Share best practices and insights gained from client engagements back to the Digital Factory teams in Paris, Montreal, and Singapore.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably with a consulting background.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and security mechanisms.
- In-depth knowledge of systems architecture and functionality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure, including networking and security configurations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the OSI network model.
- Solid knowledge of firewall policies, NAT rules, and their application in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with various cybersecurity frameworks and their implementation.
- Strong grasp of application security principles and best practices.
- Experience in implementing CIS Benchmarks effectively for cloud environments.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks, tailored to client needs.
- Proven experience in project planning and execution, particularly in client-facing roles.
- Critical thinking with strong analytical skills to assess client-specific security challenges.
- Expertise in developing and applying threat models relevant to cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse teams, locations, and cultures, both in-person and virtually.
- Demonstrates courage in convictions coupled with humility; open to constructive feedback and shows resilience in tackling challenges.
