Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer, Lund

We're looking for a seasoned Compliance Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team in Lund. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring Axis’s products, services and organization are world-class and comply with various regulations, certifications, and industry standards.

What you’ll do here as Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer

Operational responsibilities:

• Balance compliance and business objectives: Ensuring efficient and effective processes, i.e. make sure compliance don’t slow down R&D development.
• Collaborate with the organization: Educate, coach and review regarding compliance.
• Compliance Status: Maintain a cybersecurity compliance dashboard for Axis Products & CTO organization.
  • Compliance Verification: Conducting internal audits and automating compliance processes to verify adherence to standards and legislations like ISO 27001, SOC2, NIS2 and EU Cyber Resilience Act.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement through internal audits and provide constructive feedback to management
• Communication: Providing clear and consistent communication regarding cybersecurity compliance to product specialists, sales engineers, regions and marketing.
• Collaboration with Axis Software Security Group (SSG): Working with SSG to ensure that Axis Security Development Model (ASDM) covers relevant secure development practices.
• Audit Collaboration: Working with IT Governance team at Axis and external auditors

Strategic responsibilities:

• Evaluate Standards: Securing that relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations & legislations are assessed.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Collaborate with R&D management, product management, regions and marketing to decide which standards Axis should comply with from a business perspective.
• Regulatory knowledge: Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Who are you?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced compliance professional with:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across Axis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address compliance gaps.
• Technical skills and understanding to be able to understand developers. Proficiency in coding and scripting is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for staying up to date with the latest developments in cybersecurity and compliance.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are a plus.
• Experience from external and/or internal audit roles
