- Ensure cloud-hosted systems are securely architected and meet DoD requirements.
- Review cloud security policy and recommend improvements.
- Provide expert guidance to program teams throughout cloud deployments and migrations.
- Support deployment of programs and applications to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Provide guidance to assessment staff conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessments in cloud environments.
- Apply knowledge of emerging cloud security threats and advances in cloud security engineering.
- Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience securing and architecting complex IT systems
- At least Five (5) years of experience in cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure)
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to cloud security assessments, audits, or compliance reviews
- Extensive knowledge of cloud security frameworks and standards (CIS Controls, NIST CSF, CSA CCM)
- Cloud certification (GCP, OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience working with enterprise DoD IT
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting FedRAMP-aligned cloud environments
- Experience mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership
