- Review cloud security architecture and designs to ensure alignment with DoD requirements.
- Analyze cloud security policies and recommend improvements.
- Support monitoring, detection, and response activities in cloud environments.
- Work with cyber intelligence and incident response teams to analyze cloud-based threats.
- Support cybersecurity engineers in identifying gaps in cloud protection and detection.
- Maintain awareness of emerging cloud threats and provide actionable reporting and briefings.
- Three (3) years of cybersecurity experience
- Three (3) years of IT administration or cybersecurity experience within a cloud environment
- Understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Understanding of basic network concepts
- Experience supporting cloud deployments (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
- Cloud certification equivalent to: GCP Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty, or CCSP
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting cloud SIEM/logging and monitoring solutions
- Experience producing briefings and reporting for leadership
