As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will join the Irving Oil Technology Security and Compliance team. The IOL IT Security & Compliance team are responsible for maintaining a strong security posture for the organization. The team works closely with application and operations teams to understand and protect against cyber risks. In this role, you will support our operations and risk teams with cyber event and incident response activities. This includes assisting our security monitoring, vulnerability management, threat hunting and incident response.

Ability to make decisions; manage multiple priorities

Ability to assemble process data and analyze fault scenarios
Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with security principles, techniques and technologies
Ability to think outside the box
Basic level understanding of networking concepts
Knowledge of common infrastructure technologies (e.g. Active Directory, Antivirus, Firewall)
Your Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or IT related program
Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school
