Job Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Expert at Riverhouse Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity and possess a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents.

Responsibilities:
1. Security Implementation: Deploy, manage, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
3. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, and lead investigations into security incidents or breaches.
4. Security Audits: Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
5. Security Policies and Procedures:* Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
6. Security Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the overall technology architecture.
8. Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security logs and alerts, analyze trends, and respond to potential threats in real-time.
9. Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 0.5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
3. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
4. Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus solutions, etc.
5. Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
6. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Relevant certifications are a plus.
