Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or completion of formal Military/DOD cyber, information assurance, or information systems security training
- 14 plus years experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or directly related roles, with at least five years in a lead or ISSO capacity supporting Department of Defense (DoD) systems
Demonstrated, direct experience as lead Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for U.S. Marine Corps Programs of Record (PoR) Security System Plans (SSP)
Hands-on experience leading and coordinating implementation of the National Security Agency (NSA) Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and accreditation processes for TCAC systems, including submission, tracking, and resolution of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items
Demonstrated experience leading EMO Reciprocity actions, including preparation of documentation, evidence, and coordination with DoD and external cyber authorities
Proven experience developing and delivering ISSO/ISSM training modules, course materials, and hands-on instruction for new and existing staff
Experience coordinating, executing, and reporting on all quarterly patch scans for DoD systems, including compliance verification and mitigation plan development
Demonstrated ability to liaise with government stakeholders (NSA, EMO, DoD IG, etc.) regarding cyber compliance, training, and reporting requirements
Direct experience developing, maintaining, and submitting system security plans (SSPs), security artifacts, and risk assessment documentation in support of Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
- Possess CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher certification
- Extensive experience as ISSO or ISSM for TCAC, TSCS, or similar USMC/DoD tactical SIGINT and C5ISR systems
- Demonstrated success leading RMF accreditation, reciprocity, and sustainment for multiple Programs of Record operating under NSA or DoD cyber authority
- Experience with automated patch management tools, vulnerability management, and STIG compliance processes within a classified environment
