Cyber Security Architect

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Security Architect to join our global team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive application security solutions across our global infrastructure. This role requires a wide range of security skills, including proven expertise in application security to protect our organization from evolving cyber threats. The responsibilities further include reviewing our current application security measures and processes in all geographies TD SYNNEX operates in, driving enhancements, identifying and addressing areas of weakness, and responding promptly to possible security breaches. Primary duties include application security, privacy-by-design, information protection, controls assurance, threat analytics, and security awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust application security solutions including use of AI and threat modeling. Ensure that application security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's application infrastructure.

• Deliver Data flow documentation for applications.

• Advises IT and Security leaders in evolving TD SYNNEX’s application security strategies, technologies and processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, application developers, and business units, to ensure the security of applications, AI applications and API architectures.

• Perform risk assessments of internal applications and API services, drive remediation and improvements.

• Develop application security policies, standards and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• >10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with application security tools and techniques.

• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.

• Expertise with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices and OWASP.

• Selection of security and technology certifications and/or equivalent proven work experience.

• Experience of AI solutions including MCP.

• Experience of threat modeling using STRIDE or similar.

• Knowledge of SAP architectures.

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), Cryptography and data loss prevention (DLP) .
