About the role
We are looking for a Cyber Relationship Manager to join our Service Delivery team to ensure the delivery of high quality services to Aspire’s customers.
The Cyber Relationship Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality services to Aspire’s stakeholders. It is a crucial role that allows us to develop positive relationships, providing a mechanism to understand their ever-changing business requirements and how Cyber Security services can be best used to help meet those needs, covering SME, Enterprise and Public Sector.
The successful candidate will take ownership for the overall Cyber Security service experienced by the customer; providing a personalised interface that focuses on ensuring that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and sustained. They are responsible for managing complex service situations and work to continuously identify improvements to the way in which our cyber services are delivered.
Working collaboratively with customers to support their Cyber Security requirements, you will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships that focus on providing real value to customers to ensure that they continue to benefit from our services.
As a Cyber Relationship Manager, you will conduct an ongoing review of Cyber Security services, helping to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and optimisation throughout the life of a client’s agreement, whilst also providing advice and guidance with regards to cyber security planning covering areas of continual improvement. The Cyber Relationship Manager will be required to work in conjunction with other internal departments and third parties, to enhance business process and implement positive change across the organisation.
In addition, the advanced reporting from our SOC, aligned to our world-class security tooling capabilities, will enable you to advise and collaborate on the desired Cyber Security posture and risks to your clients, where you will also be a trusted key stakeholder when we look at cyber road mapping and future planning requirements.
What you will be doing
- Providing a personalised interface for customers, which focuses on ensuring that the lifecycle of Cyber Security services are delivered to the highest levels and client satisfaction is maintained.
- Ensuring service delivery standards are continuously improved throughout all areas of the organisation.
- Acting as a point of escalation to manage and resolve security service issues.
- Conducting regular security review meetings with key stakeholders. As part of your security reviews and continual improvement, you will utilise your analytical skills from the security data to apply the following within a Service Improvement Register.
- Review and provide guidance on cyber alerts and confirmed cyber incidents along with KPI reporting.
- Identification and ownership of improving customers' Microsoft secure scores (covering both Applications and Devices)
- Review self-service data and identify where improvements can be made around business and user risks.
- Review and take ownership of mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of security posture aligned to supporting clients achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials and ISO27001 requirements and accreditations.
- Knowledge share and mentor members of our Service Management team, ensuring continued value is aligned with our customers.
- Identify contract renewal and optimization opportunities alongside both the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and the sales team, to ensure the highest level of customer retention.
You will suit the role if you have
- Previous experience of working within a customer-facing role and a good understanding of business objectives and how this aligns to cyber security posture.
- Previous experience working within the Managed Services / Managed Security Services sector with a good understanding of;
- ITIL v4 Foundation framework
- Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
- NIST guidelines and ISO 27001 standards
- Business Risk Management
- Strong Product understanding around Cyber Security toolkits covering MDR, SIEM, along with Human Risk Management solutions supporting strategic planning.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills along with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite.
- Experience in delivering presentations and demonstrations supporting the sales team with new business.
- A willingness to learn new skills and proactively drive self-education.
- A driving license is desirable but not essential.

Salary
£36,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead head office with travel as required.
Hours of work
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
