Dexis is recruiting for an experienced Cyber Operations Strategic Planner to support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in developing and integrating cyberspace operations into DoD full spectrum planning. The position will focus on coordinating offensive and defensive cyber operations at the strategic and operational levels while ensuring alignment with Joint Staff, USCYBERCOM, and interagency partners. This position is contingent upon contract award.
ResponsibilitiesThe Cyber Operations Strategic Planner will provide expertise in cyberspace operations planning while participating in USCENTCOM planning teams. This role involves integrating cyber capabilities into operational plans, including surveillance and reconnaissance, operational preparation of the environment, and targeting operations. The planner will coordinate with the Joint Cyber Center and various stakeholders to develop comprehensive cyber strategies and capabilities.
Key duties include:
- Integrate cyberspace operations into full-spectrum military planning
- Coordinate cyber plans and requirements with OSD, Joint Staff, and USCYBERCOM
- Develop command cyber policies and capabilities requirements
- Conduct Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations planning
- Support joint, interagency, and multinational cyber planning efforts
- Coordinate with J6 planners to optimize cyber operations
- Provide expertise on cyber operations in support of information operations
- DoD Directive 857.01M Level 1 or higher certification
- Graduate of Joint Information/Cyber Space Operations Planner Course
- Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience
- Minimum of three (3) years cyber planning experience at Joint/Combined Command Headquarters, NSA, or USCYBERCOM
- Experience in offensive and defensive cyber operations
- Strong understanding of DoD cyber policies and procedures
- Active DOD Secret clearance required.
- Prior experience at USCENTCOM
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Experience with Special Technical Operations
- Background in Information Operations
