We are responsible for ensuring that the Cyber Security risk to Maersk is understood and mitigated effectively, enabling Maersk to deliver on its business outcomes safely and securely. Our Cyber Security Risk Managers work in small teams identifying, assessing and managing mitigating action plans across Maersk in order to achieve this.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business impact and risk assessments accurately, consistently and in a timely manner
- Working with SMEs to understand and articulate cyber risks, which may be outside of your technical experience
- Overseeing risk remediation activities ensuring risks are reduced within agreed timescales, while maintaining the risk register by ensuring risks are regularly refreshed
- Facilitate risk-aware decision making at the Product, Platform and Brand levels, using techniques such as FAIR, Monte Carlo & Fault Tree analysis
- Create documentation, reports and dashboards for a variety of audience to facilitate security-related decision making
- Acting as an SME for complex cyber risk management concerns, issues and problems
- Build effective relationships with key teams in Maersk's Products, Platforms and Brands
- Driving a culture of understanding and awareness of Cyber Security risks throughout Technology and across Maersk
- Continue to improve the processes, solutions and professional practices of the team

Required Experience & Skills
- Demonstrable understanding digital native and emerging technologies
- Risk-based and pragmatic approach to security
- Practical knowledge in cyber security and technology risk
- You are not expected to be an expert, but the role requires a certain technical insight (CompTIA Security/CASP+ or equivalent an advantage)
- Understanding/experience of the FAIR Methodology
- Experience of working effectively in an agile environment, confidence with tools such as Confluence and Jira

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
