Overview

QBE, LLC is seeking a Cyber Information Systems Analyst - Senior - RMF Analyst to support Risk Management Framework and security authorization activities for NIH/OD-OIT.

This position is primarily remote but will require some TDY.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMF and Assessment and Authorization support activities.

• Develop and maintain system security documentation.

• Review system security plans and control implementation statements.

• Assess system changes for potential security and authorization impacts.

• Coordinate evidence collection and security-control validation.

• Support preparation for security assessments and authorization reviews.

• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones.

• Track security findings and remediation activities.

• Conduct risk assessments and document cybersecurity risks.

• Support continuous monitoring activities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, information systems, business, communications, or a related field, or an additional two or more years of relevant experience in place of the degree requirement.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience aligned to the responsibilities of this position.

• Demonstrated experience supporting federal RMF and A&A activities.

• Experience developing authorization documentation and POA&Ms.

• Knowledge of NIST security controls and federal information security requirements.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.

• Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal background investigation, Public Trust determination, or security clearance associated with the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NIST SP 800-37 and SP 800-53.

• Experience supporting Low- and Moderate-impact federal systems.

• Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or another federal civilian agency.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.

• Ability to communicate effectively through virtual and in-person meetings.

• Ability to perform duties in an office, remote, or hybrid environment based on program requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $115,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, QBE invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
