Primary Responsibilities

Lead a start-to-finish project ending with a presentation as part of the internship.

Work under supervision and direction of senior members of the CSIRT Team

Participate in the assessment and prioritization of security alerts identified in the environment.

Assisting with the design and implementing of dashboards and data visualizations for system owners.

Identifying, designing, and driving automation projects for vulnerability management tasks
-
Monitoring threat intelligence feeds to identify, triage and prioritize new threats to create new detections.

Interface with cross-functional teams to participate in security projects and initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
-
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related degree, and have completed at least three years of an undergraduate curriculum and maintained a minimum 3.0.

Basic understanding of computer networks, systems, and how they interact.

Organized and self-directed

Willingness to work as part of a team.

Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and self-directed learning, including researching

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time

This is a Teleworking (Remote) Position

This position requires US citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any cyber security tools

Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework

Knowledge of NIST frameworks

Any Professional Certifications

Any programming knowledge

Experience with one or more of the major cloud computing environments

Experience with vulnerability management scoring methodologies

Experience with application security frameworks

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
