Job Description

  • Gain deep understanding of NBCU Cyber services, industry-specific business risks, and the evolving cyber threat landscape
  • Work closely with Cyber leadership to understand the long-term strategy
    • Effectively illustrate and communicate and how monthly, quarterly, and annual initiatives and milestones relate to the progress of the long-term strategy
    • Manage status report timelines including information gathering, talk track generation, slideware design, and approval cycles
    • Develop templates and standard operating procedures for business reporting cycles and communication rhythms.
    • Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.
    • Adhere to organizational and departmental brand standards.
  • Contribute to cyber awareness campaign and training planning and development:
    • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
    • Generate innovative ideas for content, workflow solutions, and alternative communication delivery methods (e.g., non-email).
    • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
    • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
  • Ownership in content development during key annual touchpoints (leadership committees, long range planning, budget planning, and operational updates)


Qualifications

  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
    • Effective copywriting and strong copyediting
    • Expert in PowerPoint
  • Efficiently use time with leadership to collect the intel required to craft the next step
    • Experience in leading lines of questioning for discovery
    • Comfortable driving actions and deadlines with Leadership
    • Secure in raising concerns and flagging risks to project success
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficient in email marketing best practices


Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous experience working in multiple large complex corporate environments
  • Cyber Awareness and Training experience a plus
  • Strong graphic layout and design; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency a plus
  • Multi-media, storyboarding, and video creation a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field and/or equivalent work experience


Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
