Cyber Analyst

Work Location:  San Antonio, Texas – this role is not eligible for remote work

Schedule: Full Time

IronMountain Solutions, LLC is searching for a Cyber Analyst to support a customer located in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working at the customer location and does not allow remote work.  Candidates must exercise excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides basic support for testing, investigations, and maintenance of system accreditation.
• Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Assists in conducting basic audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans and best practices.
• Provides routine support of program control processes and accreditation of systems.
• Performs basic analyses to validate established security requirements and may recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
• Assists Information System Owners (ISOs) in preparing A&A, SSP, and POA&M packages for submission to the AO.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Experience Requirement: 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum certification of Security+ is required, higher certifications are preferred.
• Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the following areas is preferred: real-time security situational awareness, operational network systems, and security monitoring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with Army RMF implementation requirements.
• Working knowledge of the following tools is preferred:
• Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS).
• Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS).
• Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Other tools available to automate evaluating vulnerability reports and system packages.

Required Travel: 10%

Clearance Requirements:   The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
