Leidos is seeking multiple Cyber Analysts in Ft Meade, MD to support our Connection Approval / Authorization to Connect efforts. These positions are primarily on-site, but light, partial telework may be available at the discretion of our customer and program management.
The maximum starting salary for these positions is $70,000/year.
Responsibilities:
- Support Connection Approval branch leadership with communication, deliverables, and documentation, including briefings, white papers, SOPs, CONOPS, COOP Plans, and DISN CPG updates.
- Ensure compliance with DoD architectures, programs, and standards, developing and maintaining SOPs/TTPs, and distributing up to three memorandums annually.
- Develop and implement policies, plans, and SOPs for compliance with Federal, DoD, and DISA policies, including SIPRNet Access Migration (SAM), MPLS networks, RMF, and Cloud connection approvals.
- Provide cybersecurity policy recommendations supporting DISA’s strategic planning, governance, and change management.
- Conduct IA compliance analysis and assess the cybersecurity impact of DISN connections, reviewing network packages, RMF Security Authorization Packages, and security agreements (MOAs/MOUs).
- Process and perform quality assurance on connection approval packages, resolving customer issues and ensuring compliance with DoD policies.
- Process connection packages, extract and deliver monthly performance metrics reports, and provide weekly 30/60/90-day reports on expiring circuit connections to CAO Government and JFHQ-DODIN personnel.
- Attend internal and external events, including governance boards and working groups, to provide meeting minutes and track action items.
- Maintain data integrity of CAO databases, managing organizational mailboxes, tracking MP metrics, and processing connection package correspondence using Government-approved systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred), and three (3) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
- DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification
- Knowledge and experience with functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy.
- Knowledge and experience with establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
- The ability to maintain the level of quality throughout the software life cycle.
- The ability to conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development lifecycle.
