Summary - As part of our digital marketing platform CX/UX team, you will be responsible for the consistent visual language applied to our public-facing marketing websites using established design patterns, brand guidelines, and best practices.
This role reports to the CX/UX Lead Designer for our digital marketing program and is part of a broader, global CX/UX Community of Practice. You'll collaborate closely with UX researchers, designers, and various product and engineering partners across the organization.
Hybrid: Eight days a month we come together in the closest NJ office within 50 miles to experience the value of connecting with colleagues.
Required Job Qualifications
- Associate or higher degree in a related field, such as Advertising, Graphic Design, Commercial Design or Interactive Media Design, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of digital production experience.
- Strong understanding and enthusiasm for user-centered design principles
- Exceptionally detail-oriented, efficient, and agile in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, while working on multiple projects.
- Thorough knowledge of digital design techniques and the ability to make sound UX recommendations
- Interaction design alignment with WCAG AA accessibility standards.
- Experience working in distributed, collaborative teams and working directly with development groups for the implementation of designs.
- Familiarity in building components for reuse across a content management system.
- Proficiency in creating and managing visual guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Must be proficient in Figma
- Solid understanding of modern HTML and CSS
- Must have experience working with Content Management Systems (ideally Sitecore)
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel Requirements
- This position may require some domestic and international travel, comprising no more than 10% of total days worked.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Work directly with our Lead CX/UX Designer to evaluate priorities for completion of daily or weekly deadlines.
- Assemble interactive prototypes and visual assets including interaction design specifications in support of our digital marketing platform's content management system (Sitecore).
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with brand standards and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain reusable design assets (Figma) and design documentation.
- Collaborate with the core digital marketing platform team on design guidelines, presentation support, and improving workflows.
- Perform file naming, image uploading, and organization of assets for different processes on Sitecore Content Hub (DAM).
- Follow through on a detailed and robust approval and design proofing process.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve discrepancies with requests and UX assets.
- Oversee production design work including project assets and documentation in accordance with established deadlines, milestones, and brand standards.
- Effectively present and justify design decisions to initiative stakeholders.
- Skills in iterating design solutions based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
