JOB OVERVIEW

The Associate Consultant serves as the operational subject matter expert (SME) for the contingent workforce program within their designated location(s) and group(s). This role will support India professional contingent worker engagements for India Foods and GIC and will provide backup support for D&T engagements. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of program activities, ensuring the achievement of operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and maintaining high quality standards. The Associate Consultant will provide guidance to resource managers and vendors on program processes and contribute to data-driven improvements in the contingent workforce program.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations of the contingent workforce program within the designated location(s) / group(s).

    • Act as the primary point of contact for contingent workforce program-related issues.

    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to contingent workers.

  • Performance Monitoring & Achievement:

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and address any identified gaps.

    • Maintain high quality standards in all aspects of the contingent workforce program.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Program Initiatives & Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement within the contingent workforce program and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for contingent workforce management.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including resource managers, HR business partners, and procurement teams.

    • Provide guidance to resource managers on contingent workforce program processes and requirements.

    • Collaborate with resource managers to understand their talent needs and ensure appropriate use of contingent workers.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Partner with vendors to facilitate sourcing of contingent staffing needs.

    • Collaborate with vendors to ensure a thorough understanding of staffing requirements, enabling effective sourcing of qualified contingent workers and timely, efficient fulfillment.

    • Verify vendor adherence to program policies

    • Maintain vendor POC lists

  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Monitor program performance, including KPIs, SLAs, and cost savings.

    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

    • Present findings and recommendations to program leadership.

    • Identify and report on cost savings opportunities within the contingent workforce program.

  • Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations related to contingent workers in India.

    • Ensure compliance with program requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in contingent workforce management, HR operations, or a related field.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of contingent workforce management principles and best practices.

    • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to contingent workers in India.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), specifically Workday VNDLY.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
