Role Overview: This role requires advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgery, close collaboration with surgeons and nurses, and a strong focus on patient safety and surgical efficiency by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and managing specialized instruments and equipment.
Requirements:
Shift: 4x10 Shift Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
On Call:
Vascular - if we are fully staffed it is 7 to 10 days on call the weekend is included in that number. The weekend call is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Hearts - it is 10 to 15 days on call and 2 weekends which consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements:
- Two years’ experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- Certificates Required: BLS, NBSTSA
- Certification with NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted if ST was employed as a ST in S.C. prior to January 1, 2008, or completed a ST military training program. (Lawson Code NCST)
- Education - Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologist training in the U.S. Armed Forces
- Any Charting System Experience preferred
- Additional Skills: Scrub and Circulate
- Trauma Level I Experience preferred
- On Call Required
