Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager NAM Cutting will report to the Global Cutting Commercial Director. He/she will have responsibility for quoting, generating orders, managing projects, and delivering revenue for the ESAB Cutting automation, retrofits, Aftermarket and Swift-Cut businesses. All together this is forecasted to be the successful candidate will attain a level of technical conversancy that allows the professional presentation of ESAB and its products. This position is accountable for the successful management of a sales region involving, but not limited to, direct sales responsibility.
Scope of Role
- Responsible for 40 MUSD in sales budget and revenue
- Responsible for delivering sales revenue at 41% Gross margin or better.
- Sales team of 10 associates responsible for NAM region
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed budgeted sales and profit targets.
- Deliver high growth opportunities in Cutting and Swift-Cut.
- Develop reliable forecast.
- Deliver improved sales per associate.
- Build a highly competent and confidence sales team.
- Drive resolution of issues that are affecting results and win percentage.
- Develop, train, and motivate regional teams to excel. Emphasizing execution of values selling tools.
- Drive team to a more proactive prospecting and lead generation approach.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional teamwork.
- Formulate and implement effective time/territory management strategies and plans.
- Suggest and utilize cost saving and cost avoidance measures.
Qualifications (Include education, experience, technical, travel and language requirements)
- Academic degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc., or education/experience deemed equivalent.
- 10 years of proven track record and solid experience of successful sales management – preferably in capital goods
- Proven sales skills and technical abilities in the welding/cutting industry.
- Excellent and proven team/people skills
- Very skilled in monetization and value selling.
- Skilled in IT tools, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
- Willing to travel 50% plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Pay Range:
$131,699.00-$153,599.00Skills Required
- 10 years of successful sales management experience
