In our contact centres, you’ll be the ears and voice for our customers. Every call is different, but you’ll have the opportunity to touch the lives of strangers every day.
This is a busy and dynamic team taking calls from internal agents and members to discuss eligibility and provide a range of health insurance options which can give customers access to diagnosis, treatment and specialist support services.
We always go the extra mile by giving our customers fast access to treatment and helping them get the specialist support they need
How you’ll help us make health happen:

You’ll speak with members over the phone who wish to make claims in the early stages of membership whilst also assessing medical reports and liaising with healthcare professionals to establish eligibility in line with underwriting terms.

Review paperwork received into the department including new business applications, maintenance of existing membership, Healthcare practitioner questionnaires and special condition related enquiries’ and ensure all are dealt with in a timely fashion.

Obtain all relevant medical information required to evaluate a correct outcome.

Servicing members at different stages of their claiming journey where medical assessment involvement is required and communicate the decision to the member in a clear and concise manner
Key skills/Qualifications needed for this role
-
Previous experience of working in a busy contact centre with strong customer focus skills is essential.

Good attention to detail with the ability to identify and analyse sources of data to make sound decisions and recommendations.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy on sensitive medical issues.

Proficient key board skills with an ability to navigate PC systems

A good telephone manner.

Excellent organisational skills, able to manage time effectively.
