If you love empowering people through learning and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As a Training Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be developing and delivering training programs that drive satisfaction and loyalty across Geotab's reseller, customer, and employee audiences. You will be responsible for mapping training plans, initiating and delivering comprehensive onboarding and technical training, and adapting curricula to diverse audiences using a variety of modalities. You will also develop learning materials in line with business needs, act as a product subject matter expert, and support the implementation and utilization of Geotab's LMS platform, myLearning.

To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with high attention to detail, the ability to adapt to diverse audiences, and a genuine passion for enabling others to succeed. You will need to work closely with partners, customers, product management, and development teams — translating feedback and insights to continuously improve the training experience and support Geotab's global strategic initiatives.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Assist in mapping training plans for employees, customers and resellers.
  • Initiate and deliver comprehensive onboarding processes and technical training to partners and customers.
  • Learn and apply new delivery methods with the help of senior training specialists, adapting training curriculums (outsourced and/or in-house) to diverse audiences.
  • Develop material in line with business needs.
  • Act as a competence guide for partners.
  • Assist in the successful implementation and utilization of the LMS system (myLearning) alongside internal teams.
  • Ensure all materials and services are available and adapted to the audience.
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction documentation and quality case management records.
  • Facilitate customer feedback and follow through.
  • Understand partner and customer needs and transfer the information to other Geotab teams (e.g. Product management, Development, others).
  • Act as product SME within the team.
  • Allow partners and customers to work with Geotab products in scalable and efficient ways.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Geotab solutions.
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
  • Fluency written and verbal communication in English, Portuguese and French.
What you'll bring to this role:
  • Degree in business, education, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience delivering training across a variety of modalities.
  • Bilingual proficiency — English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and navigating new software platforms quickly and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated active listening and empathy.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges independently, with a growing track record of implementing effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs and mitigate issues before they escalate.
  • Thorough product knowledge orientation — able to quickly build expertise and provide accurate, informed guidance.
  • Collaborative team player who actively shares information and contributes to shared goals.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for multiple weeks at certain global locations.

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
