We are looking for YOU as Customer Technical Director & Customer Office Manager (m/f/d) for our location in Braunschweig.
These challenges await you:
Customer Interface & Business Development: Act as first point of contact for the customer on all technical matters, build strong customer intimacy and manage RFI/RFQ processes, pre-developments, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
Market & Strategy Input: Conduct competitor analysis and contribute to component and technology strategy based on market trends and product roadmaps.
Events & Demos: Plan, organize, and execute customer demos, Tech Days, and technical workshops at the Braunschweig site.
Project Execution & Interface: Act as the bridge between Product Lines and the customer on technical requirements and timelines, serving as an escalation point for active projects.
Site Management (Braunschweig): Hold overall responsibility for the Braunschweig Customer Office, ensuring a fully operational, representative facility and alignment with the mother site.
Compliance & Business Continuity: Ensure site safety and strict compliance with TISAX and IATF standards, as well as Business Continuity (BCP) alongside IT, Cyber Security, and Facility Management.
Resource & Team Leadership: Manage staffing and workforce planning with HR, assign resources to Product Lines, drive team training, and foster a healthy team culture.
Budgeting, Reporting & Alignment: Lead MTP2 site budget planning and monitoring, report to the Driving Automation R&D network, and align technical strategies with Sales and Product Line leads.
You inspire us with that:
15+ years of experience in R&D development activities, preferably in the automotive or mobility technology sector
Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles (CTD, Technical Account Management, R&D leadership)
Experience in the ADAS / Driving Automation domain strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience in managing customer relationships at OEM level (VW Group knowledge is an advantage)
Experience in site or team leadership with budget responsibility
