The role is responsible for delivering advanced deployment and technical support services for complex, cloud‑native FN/GPON solutions, supporting large‑scale network environments through remote and limited on‑site engagements, and collaborating with global teams to ensure reliable, 24x7 service delivery during customer deployments.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain cloud‑native, microservices‑based applications for FN/GPON solutions.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable and automated deployments.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Netconf/YANG for next‑generation network management.
- Work extensively in Linux environments for development, deployment and troubleshooting.
- Build, deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker/containerd.
- Integrate and manage open‑source components such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Keycloak and MQTT/USP.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams and support customers across multiple time zones.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
You Have:
- Academic background in Telecommunications with 7–14 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript and FTL.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GKE, RedHat OpenShift and Rancher.
- In‑depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, containerd and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of GPON domain; exposure to Nokia FN products (SDAN, Home WiFi) is an advantage.
- Experience working with databases and open‑source ecosystems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, team‑player mindset and proficiency in English.
