The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth commercial execution of our projects. You will oversee billing processes, ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and serve as a vital interface between project teams, finance, and external stakeholders.
Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong team-oriented mindset.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage end-to-end customer invoicing in line with HGB / IFRS and tax regulations across project, service, and rental business
- Oversee billing plans, advance payments, and bank guarantees
- Monitor receivables and drive follow-up on overdue payments
- Handle credit notes and ensure overall billing accuracy
- Coordinate master data (MDG) workflows for business partners
- Prepare export, customs, and shipping documentation including compliance requirements
- Act as a commercial partner to Sales and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX), audits, and regulatory standards
Your Background
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar qualification
- Relevant experience in commercial project handling, accounting, or controlling
- Strong SAP knowledge (ideally SD and CO) and good understanding of billing processes
- Solid knowledge of HGB / IFRS and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented working style
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures; fluent in German and English

Skills Required
