Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Customer Support Manager to join our team at ABB Distribution Solutions in Vaasa. In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing our technical support team of approximately 15 members to deliver exceptional service and support. You will play a key role in shaping the customer experience, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading and developing the technical support team to deliver high-quality service and foster continuous growth
  • Overseeing daily support operations, ensuring timely issue resolution and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive support strategies and insight-driven feedback analysis.
  • Implementing tools and processes that support team effectiveness and elevate customer experience.
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer perspectives inform product and service development
Qualifications for the Role
  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of protection relays and distribution networks
  • Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality support
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, adapt to evolving situations, and approach problem-solving with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear focus on customer experience and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong interest in coaching and supporting individuals and teams in reaching their full potential
  • Familiarity with support systems and a strategic approach to using tools and data to improve service delivery
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are considered an asset
