Penguin Random House is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Customer Support and Analytics Representative to join our team in Westminster Maryland. This position can either be office based or remote.
The regular working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00
pm.
Candidates must have a professional and natural communication style. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to cross-train through a broad range of functions and be committed to providing exceptional service. In
addition, the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and results driven environment – while embracing our high standard of professional ethics is required. Strong listening skills and technical skills to include advanced EXCEL proficiency is essential. Skills assessment will be part of the consideration process.
Our support representatives serve as the first point of phone and email contact for our internal and external contacts answering inquiries relating to a variety of product information and problem resolution. An individual that is detail-oriented, motivated by team success and has effective time management skills will be successful.
QualificationsWe are seeking candidates with:
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred but not required
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task, work independently & be a self-starter
- Excellent PC skills that includes Microsoft Office suite
- Strong Excel skills required
- SAP and MARC experience preferred
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
The salary for this position is $41,225 per year. This position is eligible for bonus or profit share, contingent on the company's results.
