We're seeking a subject-matter-expert who'll help lead the Customer and Supplier Master Data Processes to help for the NextGen ERP transformation program. This role will prioritize execution and delivery of Master data strategy, architecture for Order to Cash(OTC) and Source to Pay(STP) operating efficiencies and process optimization associated with the ERP system and connected boundary systems. Enables decision-making process and Enterprise data strategy for architectural process design for NextGen ERP value streams and deliverables to execute fully, the project with go live in Q2 2027. Measures of success include achieving key project milestones, successful transition of complete, relevant and accurate Master Data to enable business processes within SAP S/4 and boundary systems, including compliant reporting, achieving NextGen benefit case, and achieving operating metrics and baseline performance of Master Data enabled process for new system within 90 days of go live.

Position Requirements:

  • Develop and deploy Customer and Supplier Master Data readiness deliverables within the Data & Analytics workstream – with primary focus on STP and OTC value stream for the NextGen ERP program. Primary capability includes, but not limited to all enabling functions within Order Entry to Fulfill, Field Service Management and Source to Pay that require or generate Master Data.

  • Enhance and evolve the current Master Data Governance framework (both the approach and MDG tool usage) to manage Customer and Supplier Master Data more efficiently and effectively

  • Develop or enhance Data Process Maps for Customer and Supplier Master Data in the SAP S/4 Ecosystem, in full alignment with the STP or OTC L3 or applicable business process maps.

  • Develop or enhance Data Standards Document for Customer and Supplier Master Data in the SAP S/4 Ecosystem, in full alignment with the L3 or applicable business process maps or operating procedures.

  • Develop, deploy and evolve Address data standards document as part of Customer and Supplier Master Data Governance

  • Develop solution architecture for leveraging SAP S/4 HANA Address Book utility to enhance/optimize Customer and Supplier Master Operations

  • Establish mapping of Address Book to various sites, location types and usage types in SAP S/4 HANA. Examples include, but not limited to Billing, Shipping, Invoicing, Drop Ship, Payment/ Purchasing Sites etc.

  • Develop, enhance and deploy business rules to optimize Customer and Supplier Master data records within SAP MDG – in order to position MDG as a single version of truth/ golden record with proper documentation of appropriate intended use

  • Enhance, optimize and deploy business process to create and update Customer and Supplier Master Data through SAP MDG and seamless integration of appropriate system of record across SAP S/4 modules and broader SAP HANA ecosystem

  • Develop, enhance and deploy business rules (including, but not limited to unique standardized Address Book entries) to prevent duplication of Customer and Supplier Master records

  • Adopt system-level automation and tools to enhance, optimize and evolve procedure to maintain Golden record for Customer and Supplier Master Data by incorporating appropriate match/merge rules as part of standard operations

  • Develop/enhance/evolve KPIs/metrics and how to measure Master Data success criteria and effectiveness for Customer and Supplier Master Data by leveraging out of the box MDG reporting in S/4 HANA, otherwise provide reporting requirements

  • Develop, deploy and evolve Customer and Supplier Master Data Solution Architecture for ERP ecosystem – closely collaborating with GIS partners.

  • Provide Data Requirements for applicable Project deliverables, including but not limited to Data Migration, Data Conversion and Data Integration design specifications - by collaborating closely with STP, OTC, Finance and other workstream leads and mapping out Use Cases for end user requirements

  • Identify and prioritize scope for source data standardization and source data cleansing in the current SAP ECC and current ecosystem, prior to Data Migration/ Data Conversion into SAP S/4 HANA ecosystem

  • Develop data scenarios in order to test SAP S/4 HANA business Use Cases

  • Collaborate with STP, OTC, Finance workstream leads, Training, OCM and GIS teams to map out MDG user roles in SAP S/4 HANA and all Master Data ecosystems to align with Enterprise RACI, applicable training modules in LMS and roles setup in Service NOW/applicable GIS systems

  • Collaborate with overall program change management office to manage workstream of program and creates business training, and other related deliverables to ensure successful change adoption of NextGen ERP program.

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the NextGen ERP program team, Business Leaders, and transformation office on status of deliverables, business decisions, and milestone progress.

  • Openly communicates ideas with organization and gains input from the business partners in order to influence and gain buy-in from senior leaders.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.  M.S. or MBA preferred.

  • Must be very detailed oriented, data driven and fact-based analysis to arrive at solutions

  • Pays minute attention to details and highly analytical to research alternatives to achieve end objectives in a more efficient and effective way

  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience in ERP transformation, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing, and/or Finance roles.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experiences listed above.

  • SAP MDG, Salesforce.com, or relatable MDM Technology for Customer and Supplier Master.

  • Broad knowledge of End-to-End Master Data and role of Customer/Supplier Master data to enable core capabilities within OTC, STP, Finance.

  • Experience in Life Science, Technology, Biotechnology, and/or a healthcare/regulated environment is required.

  • Must have a track record of planning, managing and executing large-scale and multi-technology projects that meet quality, time, and budget requirements.

  • Proven ability in managing programs in a matrix organization across multiple regions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

The estimated base salary range for the Customer, Supplier Master Data and Address Book SME (SAP) role based in the United States of America is: $138,800 - $208,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
