About the role:
This role will be responsible for providing FIS BASE2000 services to our retail and commercial customers affordably, efficiently, and securely to include banks to credit unions. The position will be located at our St. Petersburg, FL office. Client Care is an exciting team that works with amazing clients. You will have a lot of team collaboration and enjoy working in a fun environment.
About the team
BASE2000 is a hosted credit card processing solution that offers financial institutions of all asset sizes and charter types unparalleled flexibility, integration, scalability, and reliability. BASE2000 processes using one version of the source code for all financial institutions. It is a highly integrated system using a comprehensive set of credit card processing parameters to define products and attributes. BASE2000 processes Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Private Label cards for consumer and commercial accounts.
What will you be doing

  • Providing in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries
  • Responding to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions
  • Resolving customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters
  • Troubleshooting problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action
  • Documenting customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
  • Recreating client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes
  • Other related duties assigned as needed

What you will need

  • Base 2000 or TBS experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior banking or finance related experience required - 5+ years
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge in programming, business analysis or implementation of software products
  • Organizational and time management skills required
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently
  • Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills, technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities
