Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Sales Support person to join our Commercial and Technical services teams. Based at our award-winning head office in East Tamaki, Auckland the facilities are state-of-the-art, with onsite café and free car parking.  

About the role 

In this role, you will work alongside local and national business account managers, and the wider business, including finance, customer services, credit, and operations teams. 

It’s a varied role that will see you involved in assisting with customer/account manager queries. This includes: 

  • Tier 2 escalation support for all WM New Zealand's commercial customers 
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries for our customers 
  • Develop and deliver accurate reports for the sales team and our customers 
  • Preparing presentations and other supporting material for the sales team 

Qualifications

So, what do you need to be successful in this role? 

We are looking for an exceptional customer service person who understands the values we place on ensuring Waste Management is putting the customer first 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as knowledge in Microsoft Office platforms 
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail 
  • Able to work autonomously as well as in a team 
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience using operating systems and CRM software (desirable)
