About the Role – Software Program Manager
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge software solutions for Japanese automotive OEMs and suppliers. Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while collaborating with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute software projects using schedule, budget and quality benchmarks
Interface with software engineering teams on architecture, integration, and testing
Manage customer relationships at technical and executive levels
Oversee customer project deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management
Conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; PMP certification a plus
5+ years’ experience in software project management, preferably in automotive
Familiarity with cloud software platforms, embedded systems, and automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
