Job Description
The Customer Success Engineer (CSE) is a technical role that works directly with customers to help them succeed with CyberArk’s products. As a CSE, you’ll assist customers with technical questions, show how CyberArk solutions can work for their needs, help with integrations, and support deployments. Your role is to connect technical solutions with customer goals, ensuring they use CyberArk effectively and securely. By working closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs), you’ll help troubleshoot challenges, improve customer setups, and encourage the adoption of CyberArk’s tools.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs) to help customers with technical questions, challenges, and requests.
· Demonstrate how Venafi products can solve specific customer needs through tailored product demos.
· Help customers design secure and scalable solutions for managing machine identities, including certificates and SSH keys.
· Provide hands-on support for setting up and integrating Venafi solutions in different environments, like cloud, on-premises, or hybrid setups.
· Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and work with other teams to resolve them quickly.
· Lead technical sessions, workshops, and discussions to help customers make the most of Venafi products.
· Help customers use Venafi solutions with automation tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible to support their DevOps processes.
· Share customer feedback and ideas with internal teams to improve Venafi’s products and services.
· Keep up with the latest technology trends and updates to provide helpful advice to customers.

Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
· At least 3 years of experience in technical roles that involve working directly with customers, like solution engineering, technical support, or professional services.
· Some experience with Venafi products, such as TLS Protect, CodeSign Protect, SSH Protect, or others.
· A good understanding of PKI, TLS/SSL protocols, and basic cryptography concepts.
· Experience with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
· Familiarity with DevOps tools and workflows, including Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
· Basic experience working with Kubernetes and tools like cert-manager for managing certificates.
· Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools like Azure Key Vault is a plus.
· Understanding of encryption, SSH key management, or code signing is helpful.
· Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) tools or frameworks.
· Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to people who may not have a technical background.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $132,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
