Job Description

We’re Sutherland, and we are seeking friendly, action-oriented individuals to handle inbound customer calls as well as manage outbound follow-up calls as part of our Insurance (property & casualty) team. In this position, you will support customer inquiries regarding insurance products and services; provide basic policy information; transfer calls to the correct team when escalation is required, and handle other related duties as needed.

This is a work from home, part time position that will require up to 30 hours per week. You will be scheduled Monday- Friday, with shifts starting at 10AM or noon.

We will provide equipment, however to work from home, you must have:

  • Excellent Internet connectivity:
    • Internet access speeds of 10 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download – the faster the better!
    • In-house network, and a hard-wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting outstanding call quality and high-speed response rates. (wireless and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems)
    • A quiet and distraction-free, secure place to work.

Qualifications

Qualifications

2+ years of Customer Service experience is preferred; Call Center Experience a plus

  • High school diploma or GED
  • High level of accuracy when completing tasks
  • Proficient PC skills with typing of 30+ WPM
  • Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
