Currently, we have an opening for a Customer Sales Support Representative.  The Customer Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing industry leading sales support, which exceeds customer expectations and fosters customer loyalty and a positive experience in order to support the achievement of sales targets.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor and process incoming customer orders

  • Support customer inquiries via phone or e-mail includes quotes, orders, unit downs, return requests, shipping a/o pricing concerns and technical issues

  • Process weekly back-order reports: review, expedite as required and send to customer

  • Knowledge of your customer needs and communicate to other departments

  • Maintaining working knowledge of products and their functions for your customers

  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with Sandvik’s core values and current policies and procedures

  • Arranging for the shipment/transport of equipment/materials

  • Receipt of incoming goods and associated logistic support where required

  • Other duties as assigned

What you will bring along

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a Business-related field

  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience

  • Bilingual in both English and French considered an asset

  • Proven customer service and sales experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of the mining industry would be an asset

  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for selling goods and services

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Sales Force etc.)

  • Familiar with parts manuals

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work flexible working hours
