In this hybrid role, reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you'll be the friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for our customers, supporting them with our market-leading diagnostic solutions. Your ability to build strong relationships and resolve enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency will help create positive experiences for our customers and support better outcomes.

In this role:

  • You will be a key member of a collaborative team delivering premium support to our customers.

  • You will manage customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

  • You will maintain accurate customer records and track all interactions and requests within internal systems.

  • You will build customer loyalty through proactive, caring, and professional engagement.

  • You will identify opportunities to educate customers on IDEXX products, services, and solutions.

  • You will provide valuable customer feedback and insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • You will work within a rotating roster, Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 7:30pm, with occasional Saturday morning shifts.

  • You will receive comprehensive training on IDEXX products, systems, and processes to support your success.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience in a high-volume environment.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging customers over the phone and via email.

  • You are an effective problem solver who can think critically and respond with empathy and professionalism.

  • You are self-motivated, adaptable, and able to use initiative while contributing positively within a team environment.

  • You possess a high level of computer literacy and can quickly learn new information, systems and technologies.

  • You have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience within a customer service, contact centre, veterinary, healthcare, scientific, or diagnostic environment will be highly regarded.

  • An understanding of the veterinary industry or scientific diagnostic services would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
