About the team
In Hengelo the Project Manager is part of a Segment. This segment is responsible for assuring all activities relating to development and delivery of our solutions (systems, products and/or services) to our customers. In this segment product managers, customer project managers and product project managers cooperate with engineers, people from supply chain and colleagues from purchasing.
In this specific situation we are looking for an experienced customer project manager (CPM) to deliver mission systems to our major customers. These mission systems exist of a complete Combat Management System and various search and fire control radars that fully integrate all functionality and control of the subsystems on board of a ship.

About the job
As experienced Customer Project Manager you contribute to the project management baseline during the bid phase. You are responsible for a smooth transition of the contract from bid to project phase to enable realization of the project within its contractual obligations.
Your main responsibilities are to:
- Lead the Project Management Team
- Provide a controlled and predictable execution of the project
- Stay in contact with and report to the customer
- Contribute to project reviews and evaluations
About you
As Customer Project Manager you:
- Have excellent, professional project management skills with experience working on complex projects
- Ensure all business planning and reporting is published in accordance with Business directives e.g. Project Management reviews (PMR), Business Operations Report (BOR) and On Time Delivery (OTD).
- Drive Quality, Cost & Delivery performance through close working with other functions.
- Are able to have an overview of complex situations and to manage multi-task environments
- Have the ability to directly successfully manage project teams
- Building and maintaining excellent internal stakeholder relationship across Thales, as well as with customers
- A relevant Master degree, International Experience, leading teams of technical professionals and fluent in English
- IPMA certification is a plus
