Job Description

As Customer Project Manager, your core mission is to empower our decentralized Country CPMs through technical expertise, streamline special machinery projects (ETO), and drive continuous process improvements across EMEA. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Managing internal tracking of inquiries/projects for Engineered-to-Order (ETO) business
  • Ensuring/conducting structured post-project reviews (technical, commercial, and procedural)
  • Supporting country teams with complex projects
  • Providing coaching and mentoring for country CPMs
  • Handling prototype projects
  • Proofreading technical documentation, including drawings
  • Managing HQ interfaces to relieve the workload of country CPMs
  • Serving as secondary CPM for special projects

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in technical project management within special machinery, plant construction or the CAPEX equipment sector.
  • Solid understanding of business fundamentals, project profitability, and experience working with ERP systems. 
  • Excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a high level of customer focus.
  • Fluent in English  for international collaboration. German language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (approx. 20–30%).
