• Lead operational excellence initiatives within the Engineering function (metrics, dashboards, resource data, and processes).
• Own the technical execution of complex gas upgrades projects from inquiry/proposal through installation and closeout.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Field Services, and Customers to deliver scope safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned to functional KPIs and business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to improve Engineering function effectiveness, including metrics, dashboards, headcount/capacity tracking, and standard processes.
- Own process and metrics tracking, including headcount, capacity, and other operational data used for strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Develop and maintain functional dashboards and KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, quality, cost, resource utilization) to drive performance and accountability.
- Own technical scope and execution for gas turbine and combined-cycle upgrades, conversions, modifications, and unit relocations.
- Develop and manage engineering project schedules, align milestones with project stakeholders, and drive timely issue and risk resolution.
- Define, control, and approve engineering deliverables (drawings, specifications, BOMs, FMIs) and ensure robust configuration control and change management.
- Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field Services, and Service Shops during project execution and installation.
- Communicate scope, status, and risks to internal stakeholders and customers; deliver clear technical presentations and support design and project reviews.
- Use operational data and KPIs to drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement within the Engineering function.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing, safety- and quality-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related engineering/science
- Minimum 8 years of engineering or field experience on gas turbines
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed

- Strong operational acumen with demonstrated ability to design, implement, and interpret KPIs, dashboards, and functional processes.
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to work across cultural and organizational boundaries in a global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and drive change, challenging the status quo to improve outcomes for GE and its customers.
- Systems thinker with a strong understanding of interactions between gas turbine, HRSG, steam turbine, and BOP systems in combined-cycle plants.
- Working knowledge of power plant electrical systems: excitation, LCI/static starting, generator protection, synchronization, LV/MV switchgear, MCCs.
- Familiarity with plant control and communication systems (DCS/PLC, turbine controls, industrial networks).
- Experience with GE Gas Turbine product lines, MLI/BOM structures, and requisition engineering processes.
- Prior field engineering / commissioning experience and/or a project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $111,200.00 and $185,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
