What will you work on?
As a member of the Global Business Process Management Team, the Customer Product Data Specialist will be the primary owner of executing item setup and quoting requests globally to support customer ordering. This role will ensure consistency and accuracy in attribute requirements to support setup within the retailer/customer’s systems by working with Operations, Finance, Brand, and PD (Product Development) to determine and gather necessary data for item creation. They will execute the setup, maintenance, and drive improvement of data efficacy for item setup & quoting. This role requires a thorough understanding of SAP data structure to ensure consistent data management and accuracy of the information derived from our ERP to support core enterprise functions, including Supply Chain and Sales. In this role the Customer Product Data Specialist will be Subject Matter Expert following GS1 global standards as they manage and update specification changes in the life cycle of the item based on customer requirements.
How will you create impact?
- Act as the primary point of contact related to the day-to-day execution of Item Setup and Quoting related tasks
- Responsible to answer questions and resolve data issues and provide analysis
- Ensures item setup and quoting data integrity in key systems (Internal and external) as well as maintaining the processes to support the ongoing data quality
- Adherence to SOPs for all item setup and quoting activities
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction
- Ensures quality of item set up data in customer’s systems
- Identify requirements for systematic execution of item sets and quoting globally
- Execute synchronization of item sets and quoting across multiple systems (e.g., customer portal, Speed Quote, 1Worldsync etc.)
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the overall speed to market of new product launches within the Item Setup and Quoting processes
- Escalate/communicate service issues to internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis
- Research customer order discrepancies and perform data alignment with our retailer / customer systems customers
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customer and internal stakeholders
- Participate in projects as assigned
How will you fit into the team?
This position reports to Business Process Champion, Master Data Governance.
What are your skills and experience?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or related discipline
- Min 2 - 3 yrs.+ CPG/Retail Experience preferred
- Understanding of GS1 Global Standards
- 1 World Sync, GDSN, GSX and Salsify system knowledge
- Knowledge of customer service and supply chain principles and practices
- Experience with a Tier 1 ERP system (SAP) required
- Excel skills and knowledge of other MS Office applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.)
- Candidate is required to have experience with Master Data; specifically, SAP material master experience
- Demonstrate an analytical and creative approach to resolving issues
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs, whilst achieving high level of results
- Must be customer focused with a strong understanding of the customer base
- Strong communication skills
- Proven project management skills

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Slovakia starts from 2000 EUR per month. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, skills, competencies, education, etc.
