Capita Ireland are recruiting Customer Payments Advisors to join our team, working from home. You’ll join a small, friendly and dedicated team to support customers to get back on track with outstanding payments, ensuring you deliver excellent customer service at all times.
After initial training, you will work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, 40 hours per week.

Job Description:


What you’ll be doing: 

  • Implement the Company’s Credit Control practices as per the Policy and Procedures documents.
  • Deal with customers in an empathetic and professional manner in difficult or awkward situations.
  • To make informed decisions within a timely manner to reduce the business exposure to bad debt and potential unnecessary disruption to the customer.
  • Identification, documentation and resolution of telephone/postal/e-mail queries, disputes and general enquiries in an efficient and timely manner (as per deadlines).
  • Communicate and escalate to immediate Supervisor when necessary all issues related to account queries in a timely manner.
  • To actively monitor and action all activities within your individual work queue and within the set timescales.
  • Ensuring that accurate records are maintained in the relevant systems.

  • Experience of working to and performing against set targets
  • Ability to deal positively and professionally with difficult situations which may arise.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Proactive attitude – must have ability to take initiative to get the job done

We anticipate this role to start on 21st October.
