Job Summary
As a GAF Roads Customer Operations Specialist, you will be the point of contact for all post-sale customer-related activities. From the time our Sales team closes a deal, you will be brought in to partner with our customers—contractors and municipality officials alike—to ensure project success and satisfaction, as well as enduring loyalty and project expansion. Through this work, you will work closely not only with customers, but also with the GAF Roads Sales and Field Services teams, our equipment partners, and GAF Coatings Customer Service and Plant Operations teams.

Essential Duties

• Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and managing the job work plan
  • Manage order and logistics of all necessary materials, equipment, & tools for executing the job
  • Use and help further develop communication and planning tools
  • Help define, implement, and refine relevant SOPs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests—be it from our Field Technicians or Customers—and triage appropriately

Under This Roof, We Require

• HS Diploma/GED
• 5+ years of customer service related experience
• Project management skills with desire for high accountability and comfortable pushing stakeholders to follow up
• Attention to detail
• Clear communicator, adept at mediation and confident managing conflict (calm under pressure)
• Customer focus & service — you enjoy talking to customers and it’s in your DNA to be a people pleaser

• Familiarity with asset management processes and tools
• Experience with project management tools like Monday.com and JIRA
• Digital savvy/native, and if not, facility for learning new tools

Travel Requirements: Limited travel (5-10%) to team and customer meetings as well as key projects

Annual Salary Range: 54,844-70,078
