Customer Marketing Specialist - Poland (temporary)

Location: Warsaw

Type of contract: 4-months Fixed Term Contract

Salary range: the salary range budgeted for the position is PLN Gross Monthly 6,413.00 to 10,688.00 (plus bonus and additional compensation elements)

About the role:

The Customer Marketing Team works closely with our key account and sales team to understand the needs of customers, shoppers and guests, as well as working closely with our brand teams in order to follow brand strategies. 

 

About the role:

The Customer Marketing Specialist supports the Customer Marketing Team in delivering strong commercial execution across channels. This role works closely with Customer Marketing Managers, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure timely delivery of tools, materials, and processes that enable effective inmarket activation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and execution of activation plans aligned with brand and customer priorities. 

  • Coordinate preparation and delivery of activation toolkits, POS materials, and selling stories. 

  • Enable Sales teams by preparing briefing materials, sales decks, and activity summaries. 

  • Track and monitor A&P spend, ensuring accurate updates, invoice handling and compliance with budget lines. 

  • Coordinate with external partners on project timelines, asset delivery, and quality control. 

  • Maintain internal systems, trackers, documentation, and commercial calendars to ensure operational excellence. 

  

Customer Marketing Specialist – CompetencyBased Responsibilities 

1. Commercial & Consumer/Customer Understanding 

  • Applies understanding of customer, channel, and shopper dynamics to support development of relevant activation plans. 

  • Ensures materials and assets reflect brand guidelines and deliver against commercial objectives. 

 

2. Planning & Execution Rigor 

  • Manages activation timelines, deliverables, and documentation with strong attention to detail and consistency. 

  • Ensures toolkits, POS materials, and sales assets are delivered on time and fully aligned with the commercial calendar. 

  • Supports A&P budget tracking through disciplined logging, reconciliation, and risk identification. 

3. Collaboration & Influencing 

  • Works effectively with Sales, Brand, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment. 

  • Communicates clearly, provides timely updates, and coordinates partners to enable highquality inmarket execution. 

4. Agility & Problem Solving 

  • Responds quickly to changes in priorities, customer needs, or timelines. 

  • Identifies operational issues early and proposes practical solutions to maintain delivery standards. 

5. Ownership & Accountability 

  • Takes responsibility for accurate data, documentation, systems management, and process execution. 

  • Ensures compliance with Diageo standards across financial, legal, and brand stewardship requirements. 

6. External Partner Management 

  • Coordinates operational tasks with agencies and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance. 

  • Supports the Customer Marketing Manager in managing external partners’ performance against expectations.
