We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Marketing Specialist to join our Customer Marketing Iberia Team based in Barcelona, Spain.

You will have a pivotal role in the Iberia Acceleration Plan, being an outstanding addition to the growing Customer Marketing Team.

Job Description

The Opportunity: 

In this role, you will build strong retail plans in co-creation with our Marketing and Sales team. Furthermore, you will provide meaningful inputs and ideas on how to expand mature brands and how to launch new brands into the market, ensuring fast win-win opportunities and high-quality executions.

What Your Impact Will Be:  

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be a key ambassador sharing with the sales team and retailers the company, the category vision and the retail story to win with the winners.
  • Responsible for measuring the effectiveness and efficiency for the Iberia promotional activations identifying different dynamics by category and brand.
  • Analyze and track competitor’s activity in order to feed future brand and category plans.
  • Be responsible for developing point of sale materials to drive brand and category awareness.
  • Lead the process from definition and forecasting to production and implementation of second placement tools and drive continuous efficiencies across channels and countries.
  • Manage, maximize potential and performance tracking of our retail merchandisers team in Iberia.
  • Retail budget management, track and analyze spend by customer and brand to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
  • Create strong relationships with all key stakeholders like sales and marketing teams, in order to align and execute company strategies with customers.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 2 years of experience as Trade Marketing / Category Manager. A similar position in an international FMCG firm is considered a plus.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any related field (Bachelor / Master / Diploma).
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. Able to analyze data and provide innovative solutions and actions.
  • Results oriented, winning mentality, competitive, strong will to succeed.
  • Dealing with ambiguity & resilience. Ability to prioritize.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail & adaptability.
  • Ability to work and communicate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Team player. Ability to work in a matrix organization with cross functional teams.
  • Multicultural mindset & respectful.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent Spanish & English.
