Job Description:
The eCommerce Customer Manager is a key part of our transformational journey to a digital-first organization putting pet parents at the heart of everything we do.
Reporting to the eCommerce Sales Director you will be responsible for managing a strategic customer relationship within our Sales Team forecasting, creating & executing strategic sales initiatives, and maintaining strong operational control to ensure accurate forecasting with effective trade budget management.
This is a customer-facing role owning the performance, partners, systems, workflows, and discipline that create mutual and sustainable growth across a multi-brand portfolio. This key talent has strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of driving online businesses through symbiotic sales strategies.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related discipline)
3+ years of relevant customer management experience
Attention to detail and a fluent understanding of forecasting and budget management
Effective Communication Skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with retail customers and internal cross-functional stakeholders
Strong analytic skills and ability to develop and influence customer strategies with simple stories
What will be your key responsibilities?
Relationship Management
Owns day-to-day relationship with Category Manager, Annual Vendor Negotiation, and customer Joint Business Planning.
Forecasting
Responsible for monthly forecasting Dog business, Risks & Opportunities, DMR Power Page and Weekly Pacing updates.
Budget Management
Work cross-functionally to optimize investment strategy, balance trade budget and ensure accuracy of financial tools and reporting.
Monthly Business Review
Owns agenda and guides design of standardized slides, presents periodic and full year GSV and NSV performance vs plan.
