About the RoleAt PubNub, customer growth is a key part of our go-to-market strategy. As our Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll own the marketing programs that help customers adopt more of our platform, realize greater value, expand their usage, and stay engaged throughout their journey.
You'll lead lifecycle marketing initiatives focused on customer health, expansion, and churn prevention, working closely with Customer Success and Account Managers. Success in this role means improving Net Revenue Retention (NRR), reducing preventable customer losses, and creating a steady stream of expansion opportunities from our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities- Build customer lifecycle and nurture programs distinct from prospect marketing.
- Design platform expansion campaigns based on onboarding use cases and unused features.
- Partner with Go-to-Market Engineering (GTME) on customer health scoring and expansion signal detection.
- Create ROI reports and value summaries as easy, one-click artifacts Account Managers can use in-deal.
- Run multi-team penetration plays within existing enterprise accounts.
- Build win-back and re-engagement campaigns for quiet or at-risk customers.
- Analyze why customers leave and turn insights into retention plays.
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Account Managers on retention initiatives.
- 3+ years in lifecycle, customer, or retention marketing in B2B SaaS.
- Strong familiarity with connecting to developer-focused audiences.
- Data-driven approach to segmentation, timing, and measurement.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation.
- Collaborative and cross-functional, especially with Customer Success and Sales.
- Experience with product usage data or product-led growth signals.
- Background in expansion and NRR-focused programs.
- Familiarity with developer or technical customer bases.
