About the Role

At PubNub, customer growth is a key part of our go-to-market strategy. As our Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll own the marketing programs that help customers adopt more of our platform, realize greater value, expand their usage, and stay engaged throughout their journey.

You'll lead lifecycle marketing initiatives focused on customer health, retention, expansion, and re-engagement, working closely with Customer Success, Account Managers, and our Go-to-Market Engineering (GTME) team. Success in this role means improving Net Revenue Retention (NRR), reducing preventable churn, and creating a steady pipeline of expansion opportunities across our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build customer lifecycle and nurture programs.
  • Design platform expansion and feature adoption campaigns.
  • Partner with GTME on customer health scoring.
  • Identify customer expansion signals using data.
  • Create ROI reports and value summaries for Account Managers.
  • Execute multi-team penetration campaigns within enterprise accounts.
  • Build win-back and customer re-engagement campaigns.
  • Analyze churn trends and improve retention strategies.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Account Managers.
  • Measure lifecycle program performance and optimize results.
About YouMinimum Requirements
  • 3+ years in B2B SaaS lifecycle, customer, or retention marketing.
  • Experience marketing to developer-focused audiences.
  • Data-driven approach to segmentation, timing, and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success and Sales.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience using product usage data.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth programs.
  • Background driving expansion and Net Revenue Retention.
  • Experience supporting developer or technical customer bases.
