The Role

THE POSITION

We’re searching for a Growth Strategy, Senior Associate to play a pivotal role in bringing FanDuel’s loyalty and lifecycle strategy to life. In this role, you’ll shape how customers experience FanDuel after activating which includes driving retention, deepening loyalty, and orchestrating generosity moments that keep players engaged and excited. This is an ideal role for someone who blends a strong understanding of consumer behavior, a data-backed approach to lifecycle marketing, and disciplined promotional budget management that delivers measurable business impact.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.


THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

· Own the full customer lifecycle — shaping both short-term and long-term retention strategies, building a roadmap of initiatives, surfacing insights, and delivering best-in-class execution

· Influence FanDuel’s generosity strategy, partnering with Customer Growth leadership to examine how, when, and why promotions and rewards are delivered — ensuring they align with customer needs        and commercial goals

· Lead the end-to-end creation of retention promotions, including concept design, testing, setup, QA, fulfillment, and in-product merchandising

· Report on KPIs, translating performance into insights and clear narratives for leadership and cross-functional partners

· Serve as an champion of customer experience, advocating for customers and identifying strategic opportunities to improve engagement

· Collaborate with partners across Marketing, Product, MarTech, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to plan, launch, and optimize loyalty and lifecycle campaigns

· Master internal tools and systems to assess opportunities, risks, troubleshoot issues, and reduce operational errors — ensuring both cost efficiency and customer satisfaction


THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

· Bachelor degree preferred

· 3+ years in B2C marketing or digital environments; ideally with experience in customer lifecycle, CRM, loyalty, and retention

· Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel – you’re comfortable pulling your own data and using it to guide decision-making

· Experience managing large promotional budgets and partnering closely with Finance to plan, forecast, and ensure responsible spend

· Strong project management skills and comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams

· Process-oriented mindset with excellent planning and organizational habits

· Strong understanding of consumer behavior and familiarity with product, pricing, and promotional mechanics

· A collaborative teammate who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and move work forward

· Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes and see initiatives through to completion

· Willingness to work non-traditional hours during peak sports seasons

The applicable salary range for this position is $74,000 - $92,000 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
