We’re looking for a commercially driven, customer-facing professional to engage with customers while they are in our service department and create opportunities to acquire quality used vehicles.

This is a hybrid role combining in-person customer interaction, digital engagement, and vehicle acquisition. You will use tools like SkiaVision to identify opportunities, start conversations, and guide customers toward selling or trading their vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage customers in the service lane to discuss vehicle value and upgrade opportunities
  • Use SkiaVision and internal tools to identify acquisition opportunities in real time
  • Build rapport quickly and position our dealership as the easiest place to sell or trade a vehicle
  • Work closely with sales and service teams to convert opportunities into purchases
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and follow-up

Responsibilities

  • Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
  • Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
  • Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
  • Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed and working in a team environment
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

  • The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity. 
  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing. 
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20 lbs. 

Physical Working Conditions

  • This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
