As a Customer Engagement Manager (CEM), you won't just manage accounts, you'll become a trusted advisor who helps customers run smarter, more efficient fleets. If you love the thrill of closing a deal as much as the satisfaction of building long-term partnerships, this is your next move.

You'll manage a focused portfolio, smaller local accounts, growing national accounts, and coordinated accounts, giving you the room to learn fast, build confidence, and develop the skills that lead to bigger opportunities within Ryder's sales organization.

  • Location: Grapevine, TX

  • 1st year average commission earnings between $10,000 to $15,000

  • Own your success. Clear sales quotas and profit targets mean your wins are visible, recognized, and rewarded.

  • Sell solutions that matter. Introduce customers to Full-Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, and Fleet Management Services, tools that genuinely improve how they run their business.

  • Build real relationships. Regular in-person and virtual contact means you become a trusted partner, not just a vendor.

What You'll Do

Drive Growth & Retention

  • Attain or exceed assigned sales quotas and profit targets.

  • Develop a sales penetration plan to expand Ryder's wallet share across your accounts.

  • Segment your book by growth potential, renewal opportunity, and retention risk.

  • Present Ryder's full suite of services and capabilities to customer decision-makers.

  • Build relationships with every buying influencer in the account.

  • Partner with DTS/SCS teams to uncover and develop upsell opportunities.

  • Serve as the go-to connector between customers and Ryder's internal teams and vendors.

Deliver an Outstanding Customer Experience

  • Ensure contracted services are delivered on time and as promised.

  • Lead regularly scheduled business reviews and monitor Voice of Customer (VOC) results.

  • Track the competitive landscape and identify new share-of-wallet opportunities.

  • Support smooth account transitions as customers move up Ryder's service portfolio.

  • Keep CRM records current with account details and customer interactions.

  • Stay ahead of issues through continuous dialogue with customers and Ryder staff.

  • Share operational performance insights that help customers run more efficiently.
